Saranghaeyo Korea Club

Finally, I managed to have this card..Huhu.. I'm nearly faint on my way to Menara Hap Seng in hot Malaysia weather because of this card. I just thinking; shouldn't I endure this weather than coldest weather at Seoul? I have no answer. Anyway, lot lot lot of Korea info here.

This book give you some guidelines to choose restaurant and enjoy a comfortable dining experiences at Korea. My main regret to have this guidebook now, when I take a look and found Korean spicy seafood soup at Myongdong!! Damn!!

What I can say? This guidebook is really useful. Damn again!!!

Another useful guidebook.

Seoul Travel Guide

Uh, what can I say? I think I missed S. Korea..Huahua..

Dinner at Kenny Rogers Roasters, Korea strawberry & Top Corner's pineapple tart..

Yesterday evening, I went to Mid Valley Megamall to buy some stuff. On my way to nowhere, I found one stall promote Korea strawberry. Didn't remember where did I saw the promotion, but I know their ambassador is Wonder Girls.. Hehe, but I bought the Korea strawberry not because of Wonder Girls. I bought because Seoul's strawberry still linger in my head (cross finger they have the same taste & 'feel'). Well, I bought the smaller size than what I have in Seoul, but I think it's taste better here.

The packaging = RM11.90, the bigger strawberry cost you RM20++

Inside - guri guri nyum nyum..taste good

The dinner cost me RM43.95 - included sphagetti, cheese macaroni, muffin and strawberry yogurt. Expensive isn't? Huhu..well, I'm not quite surprise with the price because they're satisfied my foodie appetite. Fine dining with mild taste ; that what I can say.

Strawberry yogurt

Their strawberry yogurt is the best!!! I like this very much. Rich and not sweet. I just hope their blend the strawberry, not the strawberry flavor. Their banana muffin taste so so..

My unfinished meals..

Pineapple tart = RM16.00

I would like to share our itinerary. Hehehe...

Activities
Achievement
Tips/Experiences
Arrived ICN
Accomplish
* You need to ride shuttle train to the main terminal building. You’ll find everyone seem likely rushing to somewhere. Please don’t be worried, the shuttle train is available every 5 mins.
*Due to new biometric systems at ICN, you’ll find long queue at the immigration counter. Be patient!!!
*Heavy snowfall and extremely cold weather welcoming us to Seoul.

Looking for SPA On Air
Accomplish
From the arrival hall, take the elevator to the B1 if I’m not mistake. Turn right. The front counter staff can speak and understand English.
Take Jumbo Taxi for 6 pax
Accomplish
*First time being passenger, seating at the right of the driver..hehehe..I think the taxi got too many wires but completed with wifi, GPS, credit card reader and so on. Just too many wires for us, Malaysian I think. The driver can speak dan understand light English, no worries. And they got wireless in the car for free. Hahaha..Amazed..
Namsan Guesthouse
Stay there for 3 days
Don’t expect the taxi driver know every guesthouse in the Seoul. Write down their address and telephone number at something like paper, so you don’t need to worry if your high-tech smart phone, tablets or whatsoever run out of the batteries. And better, to print out the maps.
DAY 1
Nami Island
Accomplish
*You’ll meet many Malaysian visit this small island. You may experiences some of their staff greeting you in Malay if they know you’re from Malaysia.

Seoul National Mosque
Failed
The rombongan Cik Kiah just too tired to continued the journey + they missssssed Ondol floor at Namsan Guesthouse soooooo much.
N Seoul Tower
Failed on 1st day
Accomplish on 2nd day
* Since that we’re staying at Namsan Guesthouse 1, the cable car just around the corner
* By foot – go straight after Namsan Guesthouse 1 – you can take left or right side. We take a right side then left side. You’ll find a stair to go to the cable car (its hidden and we found this by accident actually, but nice view from here)
* If you planning to go here at night, make sure to bring your tripod. The view really amazing on winter, just imagine how great is that on spring or autumn.
Myeongdong
Namdaemun
Failed on 1st day
Accomplish on 2nd day onwards
*Encourage you to come to Myeongdong at night. It more vibrant and really busy on night ( it just look like ordinary place on the daytime) – shopping really hectic here, cosmetics products so attempting; so don’t missed a chances to enjoy windows shopping and collect free samples and gift..hehe
*No such thing of  Myeongdong Market here. It was a huge shoplot.
*Tourist info can be found at the junction of Woori Bank. They will be standing in the centre of road and wearing red coat (their appearance may vary depend on seasons)
*Well, I think Namdaemun is one of the Malaysian shopper paradises. Evidence? They greet you with ‘Apa khabar’?? Nice kan..^^..One of seller approach by say ‘ From Malaysia..brooch..brooch..” Maybe he knows from my tudung or my looks really look Malaysian..HOHOHO!!
*They have Myeongdong and Namdaemun Underground Shopping Centre - really warm here, quite reasonable price but limited choices. Choose another season if you like to shop until drop at Seoul (you can shop until drop actually, if you don't mind about freezing cold weather)

RAW VEGES SUSHI

Are you big fan of Japanese food? Apparently, I'm not the one but would like to share a raw veges sushi.

What you need?

Cauliflower
Carrot
Tomato
Cucumber
Raw seaweed
Dried and packed seaweed
Salt, soy sauce
Lime juice

Preparation:

1. Blend the cauliflower - suppose to be no water - the idea here is the cauliflower would replace the rice. Better slice them into the small portion.

2. Slice carrot, tomato, cucumber and raw seaweed. Now it time to make the sushi. First layer is the cauliflower, then carrot, cucumber and tomato. Roll them together. Cut into pieces. Decorate them if you like, but before eat don't forget to put some salt, lime juice and soy sauce for seasoning.

3. Your sushi supposed to be look like the pictures (ignore the messy). Enjoy!!

4. WARN : It suppose to be taste like veges..^^
